- Why did you start blogging? What does blogging give you in your daily life?

I started blogging because I wanted more expressionistic freedom in my writing. I had previously been writing for a magazine and I didn’t have creative control over what I was doing. Now I do.- Do you remember your first blog post?
Yes, it was about New Young Pony Club

- Are you rather a «twitter» or a «powncer»?
I’m a “neither”

- Twitter, Facebook, blogs, buzz, web 2.0… What do you think of all this? How do you see the evolution of the web?

I think the evolution of the web so far has been amazing. I am old enough to remember the first social networking sites and blog space like Geocities that were just impossible for anyone who was not tech savvy to get into. I think the internet used to scare a lot of people who weren’t computer literate but over the last 15 years it has helped everyone to become more computer literate and really embrace the digital revolution.

Of course web 2.0 has changed everything for the better. Who knows what the future will hold? I’m not afraid of what is to come but rather excited to see what the next step forward will be. As to what that inevitable change will bring in terms of evolutionary progress, I‘d rather not speculate right now. I’m still having too much fun with 2.0!
