You thought you could only watch YouTube videos? Then you were wrong. Since this year you can also play them! Simply click on the link of your choice when it turns up in the video and you decide how the story goes on… great idea.

“Save the whales” – that was one of the slogans I grew up with. In the 90s, the whale, huge, peaceful and threatened with extinction, was a favourite with Greenpeace, the WWF and all the other environmental organisations, and plenty of my friends made the whale their favourite animal. Maybe you even managed to grab one of those whale song CDs that came with children’s magazines?

As we all know, trends come and go, and then they come back. So here we go again. Apparently there are still some whales left, and apparently their situation is as bad as ever. If you would like to contribute to rescuing them, you can now do so, at least symbolically. Simply form a whale tail with your hands, take a picture of yourself and upload it to project551.org.

As promised I made the test! Remember? Last week I was wondering whether the videos of the guys making popcorn with their cell phones were a fake or not. So today, together with a few colleagues, I made the test!

Unfortunately we didn’t have popcorn in the office, so we tried the experiment with my cold coffee. You should know that I drink about 10 cups a day  - usually cold! I let you watch the video of the experiment…

What a deception! So really it is bull****… To be honest I knew that already. I learned that the videos were made to promote a Bluetooth device. Nice buzz guys ;-)) Everybody talked about it. But it was still a deception to learn that it doesn’t work.

Anyway, stay tuned for the next experiment…

There is an information spreading on the web that leaves me quite suspicious, but still it remains amazing… you can apparently make popcorn by using your mobile phone! Crazy, isn’t it ?

I am still skeptical though, and even after viewing several videos, how this is supposed to work remains a mystery for me. Anyway, it’s fun to watch. I’ll let you discover this video I found:

Due to the fact that Facebook is seriously undermining the productivity of companies, a while ago we started an initiative by creating a Facebook group named “Let’s forbid facebook at work to restart economic growth”. Have you already joined the group?

Now even more people are saying that they are “getting bored of Facebook”! They even made a parody song to show how much they are fed up with Facebook… pretty amusing!

If we are honest we have to admit that quite a lot of people only join Facebook just because everybody else is in there as well and then they are continually disturbed by various meaningless functions for which they don’t care at all. Well, it seems that after having enjoyed the media spotlight for over a year now (and after keeping losing money), it is time that Facebook does something worthwhile…. Ready to sing along?
