At BuzzParadise we love going to the cinema. Our Belgian bloggers had the possibility to notice this. For the launch of the film “Elizabeth, the golden age“, coming to cinemas on December 12, 30 bloggers were invited to a preview in the UGC De Brouckère in Brussels.

The film recounts the life of Elizabeth I of England. It’s the sequel of the film “Elizabeth” from 1998, in which Cate Blanchett played the young future queen ascending to the throne.

Our bloggers had before been presented with a BuzzKit consisting of a limited edition of the film poster and a scented candle in a box designed in the style of the film.

Of course our personal BuzzAngel Guillaume, accompanied by Jeremy, also went to the preview in order to receive the bloggers and their guests.

So, Guillaume, tell us about this preview!

First I would like to thank all those who were able to come and who spontaneously came up to us. I will try to make the beautiful BuzzParadise t-shirt a bit more visible the next time. Of this film I will most of all remember the fascinating story of this “virgin queen” whose fate was extraordinary. Also the sets and costumes, as the director, Shekhar Kapur, had evidently focussed a lot of his attention on them. And we had not chosen the UCG without a cause. Part of the film might have been shot in there, as this room is really beautiful.

Afterwards we were able to gather many of the invitees in a cosy bar called “Zebra”, well known to those familiar with Place St-Géry. There, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, we had the opportunity to meet some of you and to get to know some interesting people.
After a couple of Mojitos people were relaxed and the discussions were heated, no matter if about the film, the political situation in Belgium, the blogosphere and its evolution or the coming Yulbiz which will take place on Saturday in Brussels.

Absolutely to be repeated!
