Blogbuzzter #1
2008-04-01 by CordulaChoosing topics for BuzzParadise is always hard — there is such a lot of interesting stuff on the web we would like to tell you about! That is why from now on we are going to regularly present you a couple of the best buzzes of the last weeks, starting with this month which provided a lot of exciting buzzes:
- The wildlife of an idea: the advertising agency Callegari Berville Grey shortened an amateur video filmed in Krüger national park and added their own comments to give it a new meaning… definitely worth watching!
- My talking stain: Tide’s funny personalisable video ads reached record view numbers on YouTube.
- MacDonald’s billboards: a seemingly racist ad for the fastfood chain caused a huge stir throughout the world.
- Guitar Hero III: The video game producer Activision encourages everyone to demonstrate their talent as air guitarists and become the star of the game’s latest version.
And finally, a view on the world: in France, French blogger Eric Dupin was summoned before a court because of his French digg-like site fuzz.fr. One of the links posted on the site directed to information about a French actor who claimed his privacy had not been respected. The site was closed down and the blogger was condemned to pay a fine. The whole affair caused outrage in the blogosphere and led to a huge wave of support for Eric.
That’s it from us for today — but don’t forget to check out our next blogbuzzter!
