And he’s off! We’ve sent Guillaume, a member of the BuzzParadise team, to NY. And he hasn’t wasted any time in sharing his first impressions.

Of course, no two places are alike. And NY probably gets compared to Luxembourg less than once every blue moon.

For this very reason, we wanted to share his experience with you:

“The first thing a lot of people remember upon arriving in NY is seeing the famous ‘JFK Airport’ sign.”

Welcome to the U S of A. What next?

“A fingerprint of all 10 digits, a digital photo and try to remember that getting authorities to crack a smile is out of the question. The next thing you won’t soon forget: the heat. The humidity is unbearable.”

What about the office?

“I barely had the time to relish in “the city that never sleeps” upon arriving because it was back to the grindstone. There is always work to be done. Here is where I spend most of my time:

The New York office is located near the banks of the Hudson River, a nice place for a stroll after work. The red brick walls are hard to miss, just like the quotes. And who could forget the great big black horse who looks me straight in the eyes days after day. See for yourself:

Oops, sorry. That’s Sandro, our dear mascot here at the office. Thanks to his Italian roots, he is the life of the party and (perhaps because he knows Sicilians in the right places) he gets to work from a cool MacBook Pro…

Impressive, don’t you think? Sporting a matching lampshade, when it gets a bright idea (chuckle) it is an expert at lighting up Thierry’s desk off to the side…So that’s where our US manager gets all his inspiration.

And speaking of inspiration, we need lots of it since we are always looking for ways to revolutionize the marketing industry. And what better way to brainstorm than to take advantage of the comfy corner that greets me every morning when I walk into the office:

I have to admit, once you sit in the rocking chair you can’t stop thinking and the ideas abound. But, as I’m sure you’ll understand, that is top secret information…
