The Prada II Phone

2008-11-20 by Jessica

I’ve already admitted that my $20 cell phone that allows me to send texts, make and receive phone calls, calculate tips, and set an alarm clock is probably more than outdated. I’m not someone who goes gaga for gadgets, but there are a few that I would actually call sexy: Ferrari Testarossas, flat screens (although as they are the norm now they are losing their mystique for me), and Prada phones. Mac gadgets are sleek, I’ll give them that, but I don’t think I’d go as far as to say they are sexy.
Anyway, the product in question today is the soon to be released Prada II phone. This phone is set to launch in Europe at the end of November or for the Christmas season, but no one seems to be pinning down a date, which maybe should make Prada fans worry they’ll be waiting longer. And for those of us on this side of the Atlantic, what does that mean? More time to save up!

Blogbuzzter #6: Honda’s Music Road, China Channel Firefox & Mac vs. PC

2008-11-04 by Cordula

It’s blogbuzzter time again! Despite this being election week (don’t forget to vote today!), we have managed to unearth some great non-political buzzes.

  • Honda Civic Music Road: Honda engineers built a road that makes music when you drive on it! No kidding! Here’s how it works.
  • Mac vs. PC: Yes, again… because the new ones are as good as ever. This budget was supposedly granted before the financial crisis…

  • And the exotic buzz of the month comes from… France. “Gali the alligator” (”Gali the alligator”) as awarded the Jury Grand Prize Golden WOM at the first viral film festival in France in October of this year. The viral film was created to promote a French TV channel and caused a huge buzz in the French blogosphere. What do you think about it?

An iPhone a day keeps Steve Jobs away

2008-06-09 by Cordula

Tonight Steve Jobs will give one of his famous keynote speeches and present the new iPhone. We thought that was a good occasion to have a look at how Apple handles its communication, and after some stubborn research we managed to get hold of a top-secret flow-chart made by Mac. This document proves how thouroughly Apple makes sure that the right information is passed by the right people to the right audience at the right time… We trust you, so if you promise you won’t tell anyone, we’ll show it to you.

Dell MacBlock Air - there’s something in the envelope!

2008-04-04 by Cédric

As a Mac user I’ve always wondered why PCs are so massive and generally so ugly. Till I saw this video of a Dell desktop computer parodying Apple’s MacBook Air ad… Amazing how much can be put in an envelope!

I especially love all the goodies (cans, chicken, etc…) delivered with it. I could almost buy a PC…

Or rather not… :-)
