Yes! After years of waiting for a hypothetic sequel to the first X-Files movie called “Fight the future”, Chris Carter has finally listened to his fans! Mulder and Scully will be back on track in theaters this summer ( July 30th 2008), chasing some new unnatural phemonema where people disappear in unknown circumstances. The movie name: The X-Files: I Want to Believe. Doesn’t that remind you of anything?

Even if this “sequel” is actually not a real one, since it is not linked to the first movie, nor to the last episode aired a few years ago, it seems that the truth is still out there… Some questions remain however: will it deal with aliens, with the end of the world announced by the CSM in the last episode? Will it have something to do with Scully’s baby? “Care and discretion”, like Deep throat used to say.

The truth will be revealed in less than 2 months…
