Finding Rick Astley - it’s time to rick roll, baby!

2008-04-07 by Cordula

Ever heard of rick rolling? It’s THE popular sport on the web right now. To do this you don’t need muscles, though, just a bit of creativity and a gullible friend. When you rick roll somebody you play an internet prank on them and trick them into watching Rick Astley’s video “Never gonna give you up” from the eighties on YouTube… The phenomenon has spreadastley_interview1.jpg so rapidly that even the BBC and the Los Angeles Times have reported on this and the word itself has made it into the Urban Dictionary.

Curious? Check out the video here and try for yourself if you manage to rick roll someone! And can anyone can tell me why the video’s embed code is no longer available?
